    I got my lathe configured for turning cymbals. I just need to make the carbide tools, which I should be able to get done tomorrow.
    This is my newest addition to my shop. It was a real bear to get assembled but I had some help from my wife, and my neighbor @k4mcameron saved the day by moving a cable when it was oh-so slightly in my way.
    The welding table/cart is complete!
    The frame of the welding table/cart is all painted and ready for the table top and lower shelf to be added.
    I got the primer coat applied to my new welding table. This project has been slowly creeping along for weeks, since I haven't had a lot of time to work on this. After this comes the enamel coating then the cast-iron tabletop.
    This was a recent gigging setup. All of the cymbals, other than the hi-hat and ride, were salvaged from broken cymbals. This is a great arrangement for low-volume gigs.
    After sawing up one of the oak stumps into slabs, I forgot to sweep the sawdust off my bandsaw table top. A day later and this is what I found. A little elbow grease took care of almost all of it.
    My neighbor cut down one of her Oregon White Oak trees and had a few stumps left over. She gave them to me and I'm working on cutting them into slabs so they can dry out. These beasts are heavy!
